On my current project we generate JAXB beans from an XSD file.
We need line number information on the beans (beyond XSD validation errors!) so I used the -Xlocator option specified here:
http://java.sun.com/webservices/docs/1.6/jaxb/xjc.html
However, I'm missing the Locator class. The jar file referenced to on that six-year old page can't be found anywhere, as I don't see a download for JWSDP on any site at all.
Is XJC dead? Should I be using something else?
Edit: solution has to
I have a set of XML API's ( XSD ) files. I want to call them from C++ and C# programs. These are two different applications.
I want to get data by calling the api. I would also like to know something about XML RPC
Can someone please let me know how do I call the XML api from C++ and C#.
Thanks
Sujay
With C#, use the classes in the System.XML namespace.
Wikipedia will tell you about XML-RPC.
I don't know what the C++ XML api is.
C++ does not have any XML processing libraries
first of, I don't know much about XSL.
I am using a app called DITA to generate pdfs. One of the things it requires is an overwrite of an xsl file; to add custom styling.
I am trying to add an external graphic using a relative path. It doesn't work, unless I supply the full path.
Does not work:
<fo:block text-align="center" width="100%">
<fo:external-graphic src="../../images/logo.png"/>
</fo:block>
Does work:
<fo:block text-align="center"
Is there an equivalent to HttpUtility.HtmlDecode in WinRT? I'm developing a MetroStyle app and want to decode strings that came from a XML doc.
According to this answer from a Microsoft employee, there's currently no replacement for HtmlDecode in the WinRT that's included in the Windows 8 Developer Preview.
However, there will be a replacement in the next pre-release version of WinRT.
Use System.Net.WebUtility instead
I search for a serializable dictionary in c# (framework 2.0), and I found this one :
http://weblogs.asp.net/pwelter34/archive/2006/05/03/444961.aspx
which is pretty nice but I would like to have it serialize my dictionary like this :
<item>
<key>my_first_key</key>
<value>my_first_value</value>
</item>
<item>
<key>my_second_key</key>
<value>my_second_value</value>
</item>
I tried to modify the
My company is in education industry and we use XML to store course content. We also store some course related information (mostly metainfo) in relational database. Right now we are in the process of switching from our proprietary XML Schema to DocBook 5. Along with the switch we want to move course related information from database to XML files. The reason for this is to have all course data in one place and to put it under Subversion. However, we would like to keep flexibility of the
How do I parse an XML file in GWT on the server side? I can't use XMLParser because that works only on the client. I need to read an XML file on the server side, convert the contents into a List and return them to the client using GWT-RPC.
Thanks in advance.
I use JAXB from the Apache Project.
http://jaxb.java.net/
It is a little different from the GWT XML library. Instead of writing code to crawl through the xml tree and do your own processing, you define the file definition
i want to parse a file which is similar to a HTML file . Its not exactly a html file.It can contain some user defined tags. I dont know in advance how the tags are nested in one another in advance.The tags may also have attributes.
I think i shold use a SAX parser. Does java have a inbuilt SAX . Can i call a function when i encounter each tag?
Use following packages,
java.io,javax.xml.parsers,org.xml.sax.
SAXParserFactory spf = SAXParserFactory.newInstance();
XMLReader reader =
I have started learning C# recently. MSDN has an example where you make a RSS application by directly getting the XML file, so I tried something of my own, and like most of the times, I didn't got it right. Put the sigh sound here.
As the pages are HTML, I tried looking for HTML to XHTML converters, and I found this one (which is pretty interesting) called HTML-Cleaner.
It replaces unwanted tags with a <dd> tag, but I wish to skip those tags, so I made a modification of my own:
I have an XSD, here is part of it defined below, but its not working. I need to ensure that Name isn't like this
<Item Name="example"></Item>
notice that there is nothing in between the tag, i run a validate and it passes. I have set use ="required".. And i also tryed setting some restricitons but it said it can only do it with a simple type. Well it is a complexType with a string inside.
I would appreciate any help anyone can offer. Thanks in advance
I have tried for several hours and searching on the net for examples on how to pull multiple elements with the same name however different attributes and binding those to my XAML in my app for wp7,
the easiest way for me to explain is to simply show you,
heres what I have so far
